Welcome to the Walk the Wales Coast Path online guidebook to the welsh coastal long distance footpath.

With 2018 slated to be the Year of the Sea according to the powers that be, it's an excellent year to tackle the Wales Coast Path. We won't be jumping on any bandwagons, we were already celebrating 2017 as the Year of the Sea, as will 2019. It's always year of the sea at Walk the Wales Coast Path!

We are the ORIGINAL Walk The Wales Coast Path website - beware of pale imitations out there who are titling their sites under OUR NAME. Not to be confused with the Offical Wales Coast Path website of course!

Each leg of the Wales Coastal Path will be featured here, along with all the information you'll need to walk these sections including coast path accommodation. There are free GPS files for every walk, as well as an Ordnance Survey map of the walk on each section's page. We've a section on frequently asked questions, such as how long does it take to walk the Wales Coast Path, what are the distances between each main point and what guidebooks are recommended.

The Wales Coast Path starts off at the border between England and Wales outside Chester, along the North Wales Coast and along to Anglesey. The Llyn Peninsula section then follows, with the path continuing onwards to the Snowdonia coast, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and along the South Wales Coast. Full details of which will be in the coast path section pages.

Users are also able to review every section of the coastal path, offer their own advice and rate them our of 5. So you'll know which sections are the best rated, which you can put on the top of your to-do list. Crucially, you can also report on coast path closures and problems, which will appear on the map for all to see. We'll then pass the info on to the relevant authorities (though we have no responsibility for this!!)

This will be accompanied by all the supplementary information you'll need along the path; from pubs to castles, accommodation to wi-fi hotspots.

Walk the Wales Coast path is the only website you'll need! We even have our own forum for Wales Coast Path route advice.
