Blue Flag Beaches in Wales 2020

Whether you’re walking the Wales Coast Path, or looking for the most stunning beaches in Wales then the List of the Blue Flag Beaches in Wales for 2019 is the place to start. These will all be added to the map in due course. We’ve added them in the exact same order as the Wales Coast Path is ordered on the site – starting from the North Wales coast and working our way along. They’re grouped by local authorities as well.

Note that many of the sources online on Blue Flag Beaches appear to be providing conflicting information – including the Official list on Keep Wales Tidy and the Global Blue Flag Website.

The latter has 39 Blue Flag Beaches listed, while the former has 43, which is the figure often quoted in the press and online. But repeating it doesn’t necessarily make it correct! This is a list as per the Keep Wales Tidy website (as quote by the Welsh Government, so official figures) and those that are NOT on the Blue Flag website are flagged with an asterisk.
