Walk the Wales Coast Path from Laugharne to Llansteffan

The Wales Coast Path from Laugharne takes you along the coast of Sir Gaerfyrddin (Camarthenshire) along the Taf Estuary to finish the section at Llansteffan. This is a lengthy section, with a frustrating 18km covered to find yourself on the opposite side of the Taf from the starting point, just over 1km of progress! There was historically a ferry here, evidenced by the old road on the opposite side of the estuary that leads to Black Scar, and was summined to Laugharne by ringing a bell housed in a tower the ruins of which are still visible. There’s again a significant section of road walking towards Sancler / St Clears which is the first bridge across the Afon Taf.
